Listen to my new podcast
It's simply a very personal and honest account of the daily life of a songwriter - sometimes on the road sometimes at home

MUSICAL STORYTELLER
Afro-Folk-Comedy
It's 2025 and the year has started with a new stage show called 'London to Lilongwe' - a retrospective.

You can see a snippet of it below. When I left the UK in 2012, I didn't know I'd end up finding a permanent home in Malawi. Sometimes you just have to follow your heart.

At that time I had spent my whole twenties trying to 'make it' as a singer-songwriter in the UK scene. I was so dissapointed with who my first album was received that I need a break and decided to spend some time working on the other side of the microphone -this of course led me to becoming the manager of Madalitso Band and it's been a very fulfilling journey but I still have 8 months of the year free!

Now, with all I've learnt, I'm going for broke again as a solo singer-songwriter. The podcast is the start. More music coming always. Stay tuned.

New Album
Coming soon
Since 'Transition', the EP I released in 2022, life has been full of ups and downs. As usual the journey has been documented in song.

I feel these last years have been a journey towards a new kind of love and I can't wait to get working on the new album.

Some songs you may have already heard on my Instagram, like 'The Indentured Wayfarer', all about how my ancestors got to Guyana, or the cheeky and fun 'Soup of Love'.

I'll be needing some support, but you'll hear more about how you can help with the project soon. For now, It's all about the podcast and just keeping my old music playing on your Spotify or YouTube. Thanks for your everything!
Discography
MADE IN MALAWI
2014
When I arrived in Malawi I had no idea it was such a hot-bed of musical talent. I found my writer's block unblocked, and decided to record the new songs with a motley crew of local talent.

The album was mixed in South Africa by Keith Farqharson, known for his work with Freshlyground and Oliver Mtukudzi, and less known for being born in Malawi.

No matter what the future holds, this album will always hold a special place in my heart.

PENCIL SONGS
2010

This was my first time to record and it ended up as one of the most fun months in my life. The joy of London where you meet a championship winning accordionist at a bar in Kilburn, a Buddhist banjo player at a cafe in Bethnal Green, and an Austrialian jazz bassist on the tube...

And they all came through to jam and make this very organic 'bedroom' album, containing some of the first songs I ever wrote.
It's unpolished and unproduced but captures a slice of life at a moment much like this one.
